Pre-winter magic (plus: new cards in the shop!)
“And since we’ve got no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” Sammy Cahn
We had our first snow! It’s not quite winter still but there’s now a chill in the air that always makes me breathe in more deeply. I have a love / hate relationship with cold weather, but I do love the snow. Look how magical:
I love how bright the remaining leaves are under the white. So beautiful. We only stayed outside for a few minutes, but those minutes were well worth it.
I love watching him do new things. It’s like getting to experience so many of my favorite memories one more time.

I also have some exciting shop news: my three most recent paintings are now available as note card sets.
Each design comes in a set of 6 or 12 cards, or you can get one of each as part of my variety card set. I love these new cards – they’re so sweet and vibrant and since they’re blank, you can use them for a variety of occasions.

Eric, Isaac and I are moving to a new house a few days after Christmas. I’m excited and overwhelmed and I have no idea how we’re going to get everything done on top of celebrating the holidays, but we’ll make it!
I’m taking it day by day. I’ve been shipping out lots of art (thank you!!), we got a mini tree this year that can be easily moved (our new place is only a few blocks away), and come the new year we’ll have more of a fresh start than I ever dreamed of a few months ago. Here’s our little tree. Isaac and I have been playing lots of holiday music and dancing in front of the tree, pointing to the lights.
Whatever you celebrate, may your holidays always be this bright. Sending love and warmth today and for the whole winter season!
