Happiness is always near (plus: my 2017 holiday sale!)

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in my life is that we create our own happiness. Another big lesson: we get to choose each day whether or not to experience that happiness.

So today I’ll share what’s making me happy, and I’d love to hear the same from you!

This TREE! Here’s a neighborhood tree fully embracing the change of seasons and I love how bright and cheerful the leaves are. I love how the branches lift up to the sky like they want a big hug. I don’t know how much longer these leaves will stay so I always make sure to steer our walks down this street.

For an extra little burst of happy, I picked up a few of the leaves that had already fallen to the ground to bring home. Now they live on my art table waiting to be drawn and painted to life once again.

I’ve spent Isaac’s naps lately working in my studio with tea and music. I’ve been doing as much inventory prep as I can so that I can ship orders quickly and with no stress once the holiday season begins. Planning ahead with intention always makes me happy, as does ensuring that customers receive their orders as quickly as possible!
