I like the freedom here, as the quote can refer to whatever you like. For some of us the dream may be changing jobs or starting a family, for others learning new skills, traveling, or exercising. We are all capable of learning, changing, growing, and creating. I love that it’s never too late.

I had a bunch of larger prints in storage from in-person shows and I pulled them out this weekend as I was organizing. I love these larger prints, as they make such a fun, sweet statement on the wall.

I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about how to approach all the new art I want to make over the next few months. I’m really excited about all of the ideas I have, I’m getting increasingly clear about the direction I’m headed, and I need a solid block of time to let myself be immersed in art making.

I’m going to pause my blog / newsletter for a while. Last year I took part of the summer off from writing to simply focus on creating new art. I’m going to do the same thing this summer, as it was like hitting the reset button for my creativity and I created some of my favorite pieces during the time off.

I’ll be back with new art to share. Thank you so completely for accompanying me on this journey – it really means a lot to me.
